Tomorrow at 10:00 in the chapel at St.Joseph hospital we will have an honor guard for nurses who have passed that worked at St.Joseph. Please join us we will read the names of these nurses. After the ceremony we will have a table display by the cafeteria where you can stop by and see what we do. Happy nurses week!

We had a wonderful Nursing Honor Guard today for Deb Zymslo(Celebration of Life). It was great to see some of our former nursing co-workers. Many thanks to Deb’s sister-in-law Stella who made the arrangements and today was Deb’s birthday.

Today we honored Marcy Cortez who dedicated 30 years to nursing. We would like to thank mother Jen from St.Micheal and All Angels Episcol Church and Palmer Funeral Home for their assistance. Thank you to our volunteers Tina, Ruthann, Marcia, MaryAnn, Liz,Julie, JoAnn and Barb.

On February 7th we honored Shirley Shook who was a nurse at St.Joseph Medical Center in Plymouth who worked there for many years. Shirley was a nurse whose compassion and care left a lasting impact on those she cared for. Her dedication earned her the nickname (the legend) at SJMC. Thank you to Jamie and Carmen from Johnson-Danielson Funeral home for their assistance, Shirley’s daughter Tammy and our volunteer nurses.
