What a great season it was for the Little League T-Ball team that Saint Joseph County Firefighters Local 4927 was proud to sponsor this year!

Watching these young athletes learn the game, build friendships, develop teamwork, and most importantly have fun has been truly rewarding. From the first practice to the final game, these players showed enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship every step of the way.

We would like to congratulate all of the players on a fantastic season and extend a sincere thank you to the coaches, parents, family members, and volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to making this season a success.

Supporting our youth and investing in our community is something we take great pride in. We are honored to have been a part of these young players' journey this season and look forward to cheering them on in the years ahead.

This week, our delegates and alternates proudly represented IAFF Local 4927 at the Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana convention.

Important issues affecting firefighters across our district and throughout the state were discussed, and strong lines of communication were reinforced among local, district, and state leadership. The Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana continues to be a powerful voice for our brothers and sisters, advocating for workers' rights, workplace protections, fair treatment, and the well-being of fire service professionals.

Our delegates actively participated in discussions on issues impacting our local membership, while our alternates provided valuable support in ensuring the needs, concerns, and priorities of Local 4927 were represented.

We are grateful for their commitment to serving our membership and helping strengthen the future of our union. Together, we continue working to protect those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.

The brothers and sisters of Local 4927 are thinking of you and praying! Stay Strong.

There are moments in public safety that hit every one of us hard. The recent shooting involving a deputy from the La Porte County Sheriff's Office is one of those moments.

Behind every badge is a person who chose a life of service. A person with family, friends, coworkers, and a community counting on them to come home safely at the end of the shift. Incidents like this are a painful reminder of the risks law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS providers, and dispatchers face every single day while serving others.

The members of the Saint Joseph County Fire Territory stand with our brothers and sisters at the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office during this difficult time. We are keeping injured Deputy Jon Samuelson, his loved ones, and the entire agency in our thoughts and prayers.

Public safety is one family. When one of us hurts, all of us feel it.

We ask our community to keep all first responders in your thoughts tonight and remember the sacrifices made every day in service to others.

Saint Joseph County Firefighters Local 4927 – Endorsement Announcement.

The members of Saint Joseph County Firefighters Local 4927 are proud to announce our support for the following selected candidates in the upcoming race for the Warren Township Advisory Board.

As part of this process, a dedicated committee was formed to meet with all candidates. Each candidate was invited and given the opportunity to discuss their vision, priorities, and commitment to public safety.

After careful consideration, we have chosen to support those who most closely align with the mission of the Saint Joseph County Fire Territory and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the firefighters who serve this community.

Our priority is simple: ensuring that the residents of Warren and Portage Township receive the highest level of fire and emergency medical services, while also making sure our firefighters have the resources, leadership, and support they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
