On December 14, 2023 Jalen Keashaun Young life was shortened due due to senseless gun violence. We remember you….🕯️

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. A graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School, Jalen excelled in sports, particularly football, basketball, and baseball. He was employed for over 6 years with Crystal Clear Pools of Osceola where his co-workers admired his work ethic and willingness to help in any possible way.
He will be missed by a village of family ams friends along with his faithful dog, “Rowdy” who he loved taking for walks.
Let’s continue to keep his family and friends in our prayers.

Isaiah Christoper Lee Walton-Davis, 20, His life was shortened due to senseless gun violence on July 30, 2024.
He was affectionately known as Zay and to others Spazzout Zxe.
Zay wanted to experience military school in Sparta WI. He later returned home to Indianapolis and finished his schooling at Indianapolis Metropolitan High School.
Isaiah worked at Waffle House and McDonald's in Indianapolis and seasonal work at Indy Scream Park. He recently moved back to South Bend. He enjoyed family time and playing basketball. Zay was a loving fun person. Isaiah enjoyed being a photographer and worked on his music. Spazzout Zxe was his rap name. He was working on his music career. Spazz wrote his own lyrics. He has music on YouTube and Spotify platforms.

Robert Tyrese Jeffries, 20, life was shortened due to senseless gun violence on June 30, 2024. Robert was effectively known as Man-Man by his family and as he matured went by Rob and Robo.
Robert went to South Bend Community Schools and received his GED in 2020. Robert was smart and talented in so many things, he loved music, spent lots of time in the studio, playing basketball, spending time with his family and he loved nachos. Robert had a big heart and was very loyal to those he loved. His smile alone made you want to smile.
Robert was finding his path in life and wanted to be successful and accomplished. His presence will be missed by his family and friends forever.
His legacy is not defined by the way he died but by the imprint he left on the hearts
of all since birth – with love, laughter, hugs and wet kisses.
Let us remember Robert not with tears of sorrow but with smiles of gratitude and be determined to carry out his mission of loving others and receiving love back.

lyyus Jacobi Michael Enoexpettiford, (16) life was shortened due to senseless gun violence, on June 14, 2024. Alyyus was a young man with a great sense of humor and a whole lot of love to give. Alyyus loved skateboarding, anime, and his close relationship with his sisters. Family was everything to Alyyus. He adored his family and was always happy to be surrounded by their love and laughter. Alyyus was a very mannerable, respectable and a sweet young man who was known for his charming smile. Alyyus was a loving son, and the baby boy with four sisters.
Alyyus’ legacy will live on through the lives of his parents, family members, and friends.

Jasmine Renee Swanson, born on November 7, 1995, in South Bend. Her life tragically cut short on June 20, 2024 at the age of 28. Due to senseless gun violence. 🕯️ She was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit.
Jasmine's journey began as the cherished daughter. Her infectious smile and boundless energy were the light of their lives. She grew up surrounded by a loving family, including her son; who was the center of her universe. Her siblings, shared in the laughter and adventures that filled their home.
Jasmine will be lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jasmine's professional life was marked by her dedication and hard work at Amazon. It was outside of work where Jasmine truly shine. Her love for her son was unparalleled, and she poured her heart into nurturing and guiding him. Her beautiful smile was most radiant when she was with her friends, dancing and losing herself in the music she adored. Jasmine lived her life like a dance, moving gracefully through challenges and celebrating each moment as they happened.
Her legacy is not defined by the way she died but by the way she lived – with love, laughter, and an unwavering zest for life.
Let us remember Jasmine Renee Swanson not with tears of sorrow but with smiles of gratitude. She taught us to embrace each day, to find joy in the simple pleasures, and to love fiercely and without reservation.
