Join us TOMORROW @ 2:00 p.m. at the Beutter-Kernan Hall in the Main branch of the St. Joseph County Public Library downtown South Bend as we present a few selections from Women+ on the Edge of Democracy, an anthology project about democracy, civic duty, and what we as average Americans can do in the current moment.

Why should theatre talk about democracy? Laura Simmons, director of Shades of Orange's upcoming production of Women+ on the Edge of Democracy, has a special message to everyone in our little theatre community!

19 Chairs last night was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out to bring Timon of Athens to life, and a huge thanks to for hosting us! The voter registration deadline is TOMORROW! Have you registered to vote? Check your registration status at vote.org. After you've done that, be sure to join us for selections from Women+ on the Edge of Democracy, an anthology project by award-winning women+ playwrights from across the county. Shades of Orange is honored to present selections from this project that grapple with the state of democracy in the United States and how we as citizens grapple with it in our current cultural zeitgeist.

Democracy begins with us. Register to vote, join us for Women+ on the Edge of Democracy, and then be sure to vote this November!
