This is a group of dedicated volunteers that will offer livestock evacuation support to Animal Control when deployed through the Incident Command System.

General information
Team ELITE is dedicated to the safety of livestock in Tuolumne County. We shall first and foremost provide education to livestock owners on how to keep their animals safe during a disaster and other emergencies. Team ELITE will assist Animal Control in removing livestock from dangerous situations including but not limited to fires, flooding, trailer rollover, or precarious situations in which an animal is stuck or in danger. We are a registered 501 (C) 3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. Team ELITE currently has approximately 10 teams of two (a driver and a handler) that are certified via driving test, rig inspection, animal handling, team orientation, and are sworn Disaster Service Volunteers. Our main clientele are all livestock owners in the county, although with our current insurance we can only help with Animal Control dispatches us.
