A $10 donation is requested.

I provide hand drums and percussion instruments, and you are also encouraged to bring your own favorites to play... and to share if you want.

All experience levels are welcome to this family-friendly class.
In this fun and lively session, I introduce fundamental techniques and patterns for common percussion instruments while reinforcing my primary themes of communicating, collaborating, and celebrating through rhythm.

I then guide the group through a down-to-earth, step-by-step “Rhythm Journey,” exploring how to settle into “the Groove”—the state of entrainment athletes call “the Zone”—as a way to integrate rhythm into an ongoing Life Practice.

I also demonstrate how to use these foundational rhythmic patterns to play along to your favorite music at home as part of your own ongoing use of rhythm to reinforce positive life rhythms... powerful patterns of attitude and action... through repetition.

For beginners, I offer a few fun and easy tips for playing hand drums and percussion instruments, while exploring universal foundation rhythms. From there, I add more advanced elements for experienced players, guiding the group through a step-by-step Rhythm Journey that I've conducted globally for thousands of corporate and community sessions over the past four decades.

Along the way, I also demonstrate how rhythm can become the foundation for a playful, positive Life Practice... reinforcing powerful Life Rhythms and supportive patterns of attitude and action.
