Grad season gave us a chance to celebrate more than the end of a school year. At Hanna Academy, staff recognized students who demonstrated meaningful academic, emotional, and personal growth throughout the year.

Last week, we celebrated the Hanna Academy Class of 2026! 🎓✨

This year’s graduation was especially significant as we celebrated the first female students to graduate from Hanna Academy, an important milestone in our school’s history.

Each graduate’s journey reflects determination, resilience, and meaningful growth. Reaching this milestone is a testament to the hard work they have put in and the challenges they have overcome along the way.

We are proud of every student and grateful to the families, staff, friends, and supporters who have encouraged them throughout their journey.

To our graduates: this achievement is yours. Congratulations on all you have accomplished! We can’t wait to see what’s next for you.

Today kicks off Spirit Week with Pajama Day, and we’re ready for a fun few days leading up to Graduation Day. Great weather, great energy, and a campus full of students and staff celebrating the season together.

For more than three decades, Mr. Ken Shepherd has been part of the life and heart of Hanna.

Since 1992, he has served as a teacher, coach, steady presence, and trusted guide for generations of young people. His impact can’t be measured only in years or titles. It shows up in the students who felt seen, the staff who learned alongside him, and the culture of care he helped shape.

As Mr. Shepherd retires this year, we want to thank him for the countless ways he has shown up for our students, our staff, and our Hanna community.

Thank you, Mr. Shepherd, for your dedication, consistency, and heart. You leave a mark that will continue to be felt for years to come.

Last week, Hanna Academy graduating seniors gathered with staff for our annual senior dinner tradition.

It was a meaningful evening to celebrate this milestone, share a meal, and honor the students as they prepare for what comes next. We’re proud of each of our seniors and grateful for the staff who continue to walk alongside them with care, encouragement, and support.

Today, we are recognizing Ms. Solis and Ms. Marvel for the way they stepped in with care, flexibility, and commitment when Hanna Academy needed them most.

Their willingness to take on new responsibilities while continuing to support students in their daily roles reflects the kind of dedication that makes a lasting difference. They showed up for our Hawks, for their colleagues, and for the school community with steadiness and heart.
