We’re excited to invite our community to participate in the PKGB Build Training, a hands-on training experience designed to teach the foundational skills required to safely and efficiently assemble our scaffolding structures for classes, events, and workshops. We've been running this training internally for many years, but based on popular demand we will be opening up a few limited spots for dedicated and curious community members.

This training covers everything from ways to properly carry bars, staging procedures, clamp usage, different construction methods, and our full safety check process.

Participants will learn essential concepts like basing, leveling, and securing - all while upholding PKGB’s safety-first standards.

Whether you're interested in becoming a coach, looking to make your own home-build, or want to volunteer to help out at some of our community events, this is an opportunity to build confidence, useful skills, and take some ownership in the environments we train in.

Join us and become part of the team that quite literally builds the foundation of our movement!

REQUIREMENTS

- Open to Ages 12+.

- Prior parkour training experience with PKGB required.

Looking to hone your vaulting skills? Or finally check this technique off on your skill tree? Or find some new ways to build up your confidence with this vault so you can use it more often? Join Coach Evan for a 2-hour intensive on the Cat Pass aka the Kong. This session will focus on three areas of this specific vault:

1. The Approach: How to set yourself up for success and safety with the kong.
2. The Ex*****on: Hand placement, hip position, shoulder strength, we'll cover it all!
3. The Exit: Where are you looking as you come down, how to start planning for different targets, building power.

This session is for you if: you enjoy balancing on rails and want to improve your transfers and precisions between rails, learn what elements make for solid rail precision techniques and bails, or even to learn to safely run and glide on rails!
