Sunday night around 8:00 p.m. we responded to a grass fire just off Big Berry. It was very close to a house, but fortunately the homeowner was aware, on top of it and had it under control when we arrived. We soaked the area to make sure it didn’t reignite. -Carrie Ferguson

Update Service information for Jackie Beck visitation will be 5 till 7 Thursday August 6 at Strickland funeral home in Caldwell. Service will be at the cowboy church in Caldwell Friday August 7 at 10 AM and grave site is in Somerville following the service. We will need Firefighter for honor guard Thursday night and Friday day If you plan on having a fire truck there please let me know.
