These sweet babies are adjusting well to their new home and new routines. After they’ve been let out of their stalls in the mornings, Thelma is always the first to come to the gate for extra love before leaving. They love jumping around on the mushrooms and hearing their hooves move across the plastic parts of their jungle gym. We have a handful of private 1:1 sessions set up with a few families to come out and interact with them as well to help introduce them to even more children and how they should behave during those interactions. This also allows the children to get adjusted to the new addition to our space and feel comfortable exploring at their own pace. They do well following and if we can’t get them to do what we need, GRAIN always can 🤣🫶🏻🐐🧩

We shared about the Joshua Alert a while back and we are so happy to hear it has passed unanimously by the Ohio Senate. This is exactly the type of change and resources that are critical for missing children with autism.

Big thank you to everyone that came out today to support our organization! Kemper was very excited and when he walked in the door he said, “I’M HERE!!” 🤣 He knew this was his day to shine and he loved seeing his drawing on our shirts. He knew exactly what the names of his characters were when he was asked. Some kids had never bowled before and found a new interest while others showed an improvement in their ability to stay in the bowling alley environment for longer than last year. Everyone loved the baskets they won and we raised enough money to pay for the reservation fees for all 4 of our sensory friendly events for the kids next year! All in all, today was a WIN! 🏆 If you’d like to help us grow this fundraiser or be part of the planning committee for next year, please reach out to Kayla Rhodus.
