We are excited to share the details for our 6th Annual Sensory Skate with Santa! We hope you’ll be able to join us on Sunday December 13th at Middletown Skateway from 12pm-2pm. This is a private event with limited attendance and you must RSVP to attend. It is always a fun event and fills up quickly so if you’d like to attend, please make sure to RSVP as soon as possible. When you RSVP, please make sure to tell us the names and ages of your children along with some of their interests. Each child will receive a gift and have the opportunity to get their picture taken with Santa. We will have the whole rink to ourselves as well. No strobe lights flashing and the music will be low.

We had a wonderful time this morning sipping coffee & just talking life. The Purple Pig had delicious food and coffee to fill our bellies as well. If you’re a mother to a child on the spectrum and looking for a group of friends that truly understand, we encourage you to come join us one Saturday morning! 🧩 Everyone purchases their own drinks and we take care of coordinating the opportunity for everyone to get together. This is a relaxed, laid back group and we enjoy getting to know each mother on a personal level and understanding how we can help you through the trenches of motherhood. Details are shared monthly on the fb page as well and we ask that you RSVP to attend just so we know how many to expect.

Our 2nd Annual Gentle Harvest Day was a huge success! The weather was perfect and the rain held off exactly until it was over. We are thankful for each family that attended today and big shout out to each volunteer that made today a success. We couldn’t have done it without your help. Nature is therapeutic and to see each child exploring, playing and letting their creativity shine was amazing to see. We love seeing families connect and support each other as well. A few children noticed a friend and ran to greet each other which such excitement! To see them running and playing together melted our hearts. For some, friendships might come easy but it can be a struggle for those on the spectrum to make those connections. We love being able to provide a space for the kids to connect through these events and continue to build relationships as the parents connect and support each other as well. As we prepare our furry friends for visitors tomorrow, we wanted to share some ground rules with everyone to ensure the animals and visitors have a good experience. We need each parent’s help to ensure these rules are followed as it’s for the safety of all involved. If at any point during the event someone needs extra assistance, please look for someone in a blue vest. We are excited to see everyone tomorrow!

We wanted to take a second to say thank you to Schmitty’s Sweets for donating cookies for our Gentle Harvest as well as Paul Jacob Connor for his generous donation towards the pumpkins that we purchased. Each child will get to pick out their own pumpkin and have some tasty treats to enjoy! Your kindness truly makes a difference and we just wanted to say thank you!

If you’ve had the opportunity to connect with us then you know how much we value making genuine connections with each family and understanding how we can support each of you. Support for each family always looks different but we love sharing businesses that mothers and fathers have created to support their family. Ciara Hauser started Ciara Collective Co as a way to provide financially for her family and also spread awareness around autism. She creates beautiful designs and we worked together to create FOUR designs that really captured the sensory farm and what we do.
