It's always bittersweet to say goodbye to another SoCo Farmers Market season. 🥹🍂

What started with the excitement of opening day quickly turned into months of Saturday mornings filled with familiar faces, fresh produce, local goods, laughter, and a whole lot of community.

As we wrap up our final market of the 2026 season, we can't help but feel a little sad knowing our Saturday mornings won't look quite the same for a while. But more than anything, we're feeling incredibly grateful.

To our hardworking vendors who showed up week after week, our volunteers who helped make it all possible, our musicians who filled the market with life, and every single person who chose to spend their Saturday mornings shopping local - thank you.

You helped make the SoCo Farmers Market more than just a place to shop. You made it a place to gather, connect, support one another, and celebrate everything that makes our community so special.

We're going to miss these mornings, but we're already looking forward to the day we get to welcome you all back.

Until next season, Somerset. Thank you for growing with us. 💚

🎄 The countdown to Light Up Somerset is ON ✨

We have some exciting updates to share as we prepare to bring a little extra holiday magic to Uptown Somerset on November 28, 2026!

Thanks to the generosity of our community, this year's Christmas tree at the Somerset County Courthouse is shaping up to be something truly special!

🌲 Dively Trucking, LLC is generously donating this year's Christmas tree, helping us continue one of Somerset's most beloved holiday traditions. The tree is shown here!

✨ Our Courthouse Christmas Tree will shine BRIGHTER than ever! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we've purchased brand-new, commercial-grade LED lights in traditional Christmas colors! A dedicated group of volunteers (shown in the pictures here) has already assembled 4,000 lights to help bring our tree to life.

❤️ Many hands make the magic happen! Several local companies have stepped forward to volunteer their time and equipment to help decorate the tree, proving once again that the heart of Somerset shines brightest when we come together.

And this is only the beginning!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 28, as we kick off the holiday season with Light Up Somerset and the Holiday Parade!

There's something truly special about watching our community come together to create memories and traditions that last for generations. We can't wait to see Uptown Somerset glowing with holiday cheer!

The lights are coming. The magic is building. And Somerset, we're ready to celebrate with YOU!🎄

We have never been so proud of our community! Because of every share, comment, and donation, we are so excited to announce that we have officially EXCEEDED our Christmas Tree Lights goal! 🎄

Thanks to all of you, this year’s Christmas Tree at the Somerset County Courthouse will shine with brand-new lights (and yes) they’ll all turn on when we plug them in this year! 🥳

But this tree has always represented something bigger than lights and decorations.

Year after year, it stands in the heart of Somerset as a symbol of the community that surrounds it. It’s where families gather, traditions are carried on, memories are made, and our Uptown comes together to celebrate the season.

And this year, it feels even more meaningful knowing that our community came together to make sure it continues to shine.

We truly cannot thank you enough. Because of you, our tree will shine a little brighter this Christmas and we think that’s a pretty perfect reflection of the community it represents. ❤️

One more round of thank-yous to those who helped us achieve our goal:
❄️ Christopher and Malinda Forry
❄️ First Peoples FCU
❄️ Michael Fetterolf
❄️ Angela Tennant
❄️ And all of the anonymous donors

We can't wait to see you all out on November 28th for Light Up Somerset when we kickoff the holiday season and light our tree!
