We are excited to donate over $4,000 to the purchase a new KidsSight screening camera.

Iowa KidSight provide Free vision screenings for kids ages 6 months to Kindergarten across the state of Iowa. Screenings are often done by Lions Club volunteers and the images are reviewed by a specialist in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Iowa KidSight screens for the following risk factors: far-and- near sightedness, astigmatism, anisometropia, anisocoria, strabismus, and cataracts.

Our next screening will be at the Solon Learning Academy on June 9th.

Thanks to all of the 9th Annual The Lake Macbride Fat Tire Classic participants and volunteers, we raised over $10,600 this year!

These funds have helped us accomplish big projects like:
- Solon Splash Pad Shade Sails
- SRNA Sandbox Playground
- Scenic Swings at Lake MacBride State Park
- 5 $1,000 Community Service Focused Scholarships

It also allows us to support the Solon Food Pantry, Solon Fire Department and much much more!!
