Good morning Seed Librarians and Patrons,
Thanks to Kay Gardener, Mary Ann D**e, Jeanette Pedginski and Ann Gravier for getting the Seed Library out of its storage unit to its new home at Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association yesterday. We'll be organizing the workspace in the next few weeks and look to have seed packing meetings and workshops at our new home soon (November). So stay tuned to this space! Big thanks to Susan Nabholz, KLFC, and our new landlord (CIAA) for making this happen!

Hello Seed Librarians! Yes, we're still here. It's almost October, and we're still waiting to find our new home, but we're going to go ahead and have a meeting. Our next meeting is this Friday, October 3, from 10am-12pm at the Soldotna Public Library in Conference Room B. We'll catch up with each other and talk about what's going on with the Seed Library. Hope to see you there!

Here's something to enjoy and put into practice from our friends at the Kenai Community Library on September 24 at 530pm, "Putting the Garden to Bed". Learn how to protect and nurture soil over the cold winter months from our friends at Kenai Soil and Water Conservation District to help make spring planting effortless!

Good morning Seed Librarians, Patrons and Friends. We've been quiet for a bit because we're still in transition. We have moved from The Goods to the Soldotna Public Library over by the Fireplace. However, we are still in transition, waiting for the formalities for a new home to store our seeds and meet. So please be patient with us. Meanwhile please feel free to check out seeds! Hopefully we'll start up meetings again in October! Stay tuned to this space for updates.

It's official. The Soldotna Seed Library is back up and running at its new location at the Soldotna Public Library (by the fireplace). Check out seeds or drop your seed donations in the bucket. Seed Library weekly meetings are temporarily suspended while we take a short break. Stay tuned to this space.

Hello Patrons,
You may have noticed the missing drawers in our card catalog at The Goods. We are in the process of moving to our new location at the Soldotna Public Library. Stay tuned to this space as we look to re-establish our services there. Meanwhile, a pass a heartfelt THANK YOU to our host Willow King for her support and help in providing you this community service! We wish Willow THE BEST in her future endeavors!

We had a fantastic Soils Workshop with Jodie Anderson yesterday at the Soldotna Public Library and 28 attendees! Thanks to Jodie and her husband for making the long drive. Jodie gave an informative, engaging 2 hour talk and answered tons of questions. Thanks to our attendees, volunteers, and the Central Peninsula Garden Club (sponsor). We could not have done it without you all!

We had lots of compliments on the refreshments, so here are some details: Kombucha from Wild Currant (local) brought by MaryAnn D**e; kohlrabi, carrots, and cucumber (local) brought by Kay Gardener; freshly baked zucchini (local) bread and Peonies by Jeanette Pedginski, and orange juice and homemade oatmeal raisin cookies by Ann and Mike Gravier. Thanks to the crew and Mary May for set up and cleanup!
