Thanks to our volunteers (MaryAnn, Veronica (welcome!), Joan W., Joan H, Jeanette, Mary May, and Ann) for a productive day of seed packing yesterday at The Goods! We still have a lot of seeds to pack, especially since we just received another large donation from The Baxter Group (Thank you). So we've added an extra session, Tuesday, April 7, from 12-2pm at The Goods. Hope you can join us in getting ready for the 2026 gardening season!

It's Monday, March 30, and we are fully stocked with seeds waiting to be packed! So, if you can help pack seeds, please join us this Thursday, April 2, 2026 at The Goods from 10:30am-12:00pm. If you haven't packed seeds with us before, don't worry, we'll be happy to "show you the ropes".

The Soldotna Seed Library announces its first Workshop of 2026. On Sunday March 15, 2026 from 2-4pm at The Soldotna Public Library. We will be showing the film, "Seed, The Untold Story", followed by a discussion by JD Sneed, sharing his 60 years of experience seed saving. Snacks provided. Please join us for this FREE workshop!

Hello Seed Library Patrons, we're back after a bit of a winter break, but meanwhile the Seed Librarians have been busy purchasing, packing and labeling seeds, and the card catalog at The Goods is packed full of veggies, flower and herb seeds ready for your early starts or collecting for Springtime planting. Come by The Goods and see what we have. Don't forget to sign out what you take, so we know what to get next season! Limit to 10 packets per person please.

If you haven't visited the Soldotna Seed Library, we are located at The Goods + Sustainable Grocery in Soldotna, 45015 Kalifornsky Beach Road, Suite A, Soldotna, AK 99669. The Seed Library is located in an old library card catalog, right inside the front door on the right. The Library is open when The Goods is open, M-F 9am-7pm, Sat 10am-2pm.

Hello Seed Library Patrons, Just a reminder, we still have seeds available in the Seed Library. Please remember to sign them out. We keep track of the number of patrons we serve, and which seeds they are taking so we understand what seeds they want. And if you have saved any seeds or have any leftover seeds, we're happy to have them if you care to donate them to us. Please feel free to comment and let us know if there's a particular seed you would like to have on stock. We're currently assessing our inventory and preparing to order seeds for the 2026 season.

Hello Seed Librarians, Just a reminder, our normal Thursday at 10:30am meeting at The Goods is cancelled for the next 2 weeks due to the Holidays on December 25 and January 1st. We look forward to seeing you after the New Year!
