VGA Tennessee and Guests... First of all.. sorry for the late post on our final 4 events of our marathon weekend/week.
We completed 4 rounds in two days at the wonderful Sevierville Golf Club. We were really worried about the course conditions due to so much weather and knowing they were cart path only for most of the weekend. HOWEVER, VGA Tennessee was rewarded by Mother Nature with two fabulous weather days.
These two days brought new and old members alike to Tennessee. The last two days culminated the great week our assistant directors Brent and Tony put together for us. Eight rounds of golf in six days! YES, that is correct... Once again... VGA Tennessee moves the bar! The relationships we build are priceless!
The one thing about back-to-back rounds is getting photos and results out to everyone. There are many double winners and many first timers. Sooooo.... In order for me NOT to make this post extremely long.. the story of results will be in pictures.
One of the coolest things I seen this weekend was the spectator on Hole 2 of the Highlands Course... I was about 15-20 feet away and the spectator had quite the look as I eased by. AMERICA!!!
I would be remised IF I didn't express gratitude to the Sevierville Golf Club for their hospitality. From the very top all the way down to the cart boys. I would like to just mentioned a few people who went above and beyond to make us feel at home... Stacey, Summer, Hallie, Braden, Jaylee, Robbie, McKaleb, and Anna. THANK YOU!
Mr. Bob, the city manager, and I had a good conversation about our return in the future... I SURE HOPE it works out.
