This is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Often there are people all around us silently carrying pain. Some are desperately searching for hope, purpose, or a reason to keep going. Others have already lost that fight.
Mental health struggles don’t only affect those facing obvious hardships. They don’t discriminate. They can touch anyone — any person, any family, any community.
So what can we do?
We speak up. We share our stories. We choose compassion, even when it’s difficult. We show kindness and love — especially to those who may seem the hardest to reach, because they may need it the most.
Our purpose is to continue doing what we can, for as long as the Lord calls us to, even if it helps only one person.
Because if one life is saved it is all worth it.
Let’s “do a little good every day.” It matters more than we may ever know.
