I wanted to share that the Class of 2026 is currently running a shirt drive to benefit our local Wreaths Across America efforts. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the mission of honoring and remembering our veterans and teaching future generations about the value of their service.All monies raised stay in Smethport for this charity.

If you are willing, we would greatly appreciate you sharing the fundraiser link with your family, friends, and anyone else who may be interested in supporting this cause. Every share helps spread awareness and makes a difference.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us honor those who have served.

BTW: The only crewneck shirt available to us in OD Green was more expensive. Not sure why that color is not carried normally.

SAL Post 138 completed placing wreaths on all the graves at Rose Hill, St Elizabeth's, Fairmont, Goodwin and Moody Hollow cemeteries. We also placed some wreaths at the Lafayette Cemetery. Beginning today through the end of the month there is a two for one sale. For every wreath you purchase we get a second wreath for the grave of a veteran that does not have a sponsor. Please help us make the 2026 event happening next December as successful as our event today by purchasing wreaths before the end of the month. Thank You

The Sons of the American Legion Post 138 with the help of volunteers placed wreaths at Rose Hill, St Elizabeth's, Fairmont, Goodwin, Moody Hollow and Lafayette cemeteries today.

Sons of the American Legion Post 138 after they finished unloading boxes of wreaths in preparation for Saturday's event.

The Wreaths Across America ceremony will take place 10:00 a.m. at the Smethport Firehall Saturday. Persons that purchased wreaths to place on a veteran's grave can pick the wreaths up at 9:30 before the ceremony.

Volunteers are welcome to help place wreaths. Wreaths will be placed at Rose Hill, St. Elizabeth's, Fairmont, Moody Hollow and Norwich after the ceremony.
