I have some exciting news to share!

My training dates for Humane Officer certification have officially been locked in. To secure my spot, I need to submit a $250 deposit, which will be applied toward the full tuition cost of $1,600.

This is an unpaid position, but it's something I feel strongly called to do. As many of you know, animal welfare has always been close to my heart. Becoming a Humane Officer will allow me to better advocate for animals, investigate cruelty and neglect cases, and help ensure the safety and well-being of animals in our community.

Because this training is self-funded, I'm reaching out to ask for help. If you would like to contribute toward my training costs, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Barn finds!! Kittens, kittens, kittens! We will be trapping the adults that are reproducing (maybe 5 females) and getting them fixed. Went in to look for 2 litters that are ready to leave mom and ended up finding another litter of 6 kittens! Anyone looking for kittens there are tabbies and black kittens and the younger ones may be long hair like mom (all tabbies, one tuxedo).

Oh my are they cute! My allergies were a mess in this hay but I couldn’t resist snuggling these babies ❤️

Thanks to a huge donation yesterday we have a TON of baby clothes for the clothing drive!!! Lots of baby girl accessories, shoes and clothes- so cute too!!! Be sure to plan to come if you’re pregnant or have a little one! 🤰

We will be having one last FREE clothing drive next month. If anyone has donations feel free to drop them off at the shop 1613 Bald Eagle St. unfortunately donations have majorly slowed down since our last drive in 2025.

We are unsure with prices of gas and essential items going up if more people are selling online or doing consignment. Also with several other places also doing clothing drives in clarion it may be more convenient to drop clothes off there.

Whatever the reason, this will be our last giveaway. While we really enjoy helping the community we can’t spend the number of hours it takes us to sort, pay for the use of the building for the day and spend a whole day setting up, manning and tearing down the drive when we have minimal donations.

Just a local kitty doing her thing. 🐈

We got this Sligo feral fixed a few months ago through TNR, and while she was too feral to be adopted, it feels really good knowing she won’t be adding to the stray population in town.

She’s back to living her best outdoor kitty life just without future litters struggling out there. Small wins matter. ❤️

It’s a great time for trapping because we are out of the cold weather. We have funding for 64 cats however trying to get clinic spots has been a strain. Hoping for a clinic in June and we are already registered for July.

Big big thanks to everyone who showed up for our Paws & Purses Bingo this past Saturday!

Along with everyone who came and played a big thanks to a few extra special people who donated!

My set up crew/workers/clean up crew: Evelynn, Gabrielle, Josaphine, Tim, Kwynton, Ian (who came in all the way from Philadelphia to help), Kevin, Betsy, Cara & Sam.

At the end of the night between ticket sales, rips and side raffles minus expenses we brought in $4913.
The 5k giveaway proceeds were used to pay for some of the bingo prizes so thank you to everyone who purchased chances.

The almost 5k we brought in from Bingo will go towards TNR efforts. This was a third of what we had hoped to bring in and what we would have brought in had we sold out on tickets. We won't be able to fund as many TNR requests but it is a start. This will help us fund 64 cats getting fixed.

Our "Under the Big Top" pageant will hopefully get us closer to our goals for the year. Please check out the event page and register ages 0-29. Prizes are ordered so if we have to cancel it will be devastating and a huge loss of $$.
