Northlake Pickleball League
Our Slidell Pickleball Association has taken the lead in establishing a new interclub pickleball league, which we have named the Northlake Pickleball League. Bud Kline has met with representatives of Genesis Health Club-PAC (formerly Pelican Athletic Club), Pelican Park, Paddles Up Pickleball (PUP), Money Hill, and Cat 5. Beau Chene and Stone Creek have also indicated an interest in participating.
Each club may field one or more teams in the following divisions on the times and weekdays.
• 50+ Intermediate (DUPR maximum of 3.7) teams of 3 mixed doubles pairs to play on Wednesday at 10:00AM
• Open Intermediate (DUPR maximum of 3.7) teams of 3 mixed doubles pairs to play on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
• 50+ Ladies Social (DUPR maximum of 3.49) teams of 3 women’s double pairs to play on Thursday at 10:00 AM
• Open Advanced teams of 3 gender or mixed doubles pairs to play on Thursday at 6:00 PM
• All matches except Cat 5 home games will be played outdoors
• The cost is minimal - $30 per team
• Each team may have up to 10 players total on the roster, but only players who have played in at least 50% of matches will be allowed to play in the scheduled playoffs.
