What makes a house feel like home?

Sometimes, it is the little things like seeing beautiful artwork every time you walk out your front door.

At Poupard Place, one resident shared, "I get so much joy walking out of my apartment and seeing these photos."

Those photos were artwork that was generously donated to HODC by photographer R. Scott McNeill. Last week, Scott and his wife, Bonnie, visited Poupard Place to see how his photography has become part of daily life for residents.

His gift is creating joy, inspiring hope, and helping residents feel at home.

We are grateful to Scott and Bonnie for visiting and for sharing their generosity with our community.

Our ribbon cutting and grand opening celebrated new beginnings for the 48 individuals and families who now have a safe, affordable place to call home.

This milestone was made possible through the dedication of so many partners, supporters, and community members who believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we wish our residents, partners, supporters, and neighbors a safe and joyful holiday spent with family and friends.
