Door County Skywarn is a Skywarn Storm Spotter/ Severe weather Observation Group that Reports on Local Severe weather Impacting The US National Weather Services Greenbay's Primary Jurisdiction Of North-East Wisconsin With a Focus On local Severe weather within the Door and Kewaunee counties of Wisconsin. Our Mission is to Provide Severe Weather Reports And coverage local to our area assist in pro
viding accurate Severe weather Reports to Local National weather services offices as well as protecting life and property through timely accurate Reporting of severe weather events as they occur. we are a multi-discipline Team Comprised of Emergency responders Ham Radio/ Radio Civil Emergency services and Civilian Volunteers Trained in Severe weather spotting and Reporting as well as Emergency Radio Communications and disaster Assistance/ Recovery following a severe weather event. Our Team Is established under the national Weather service "Skywarn" Storm Spotter program and all Members Train annually in severe weather Safety as well as Storm Spotting And Severe weather Reporting proceedures.
