We’re excited to share some big news from one of our incredible partners, Midwest Food Bank Tri-States!

For more than a year, Midwest Food Bank has been bringing food into Sioux Falls each month and providing it at no cost to local nonprofit partners, including Faith Temple Food Giveaway. That partnership has helped us put more food into the hands of families throughout our community.

Now, they’re taking an even bigger step by establishing a Sioux Falls distribution center that will serve South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, and northwest Iowa.

We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with Midwest Food Bank and excited to see what this means not only for Faith Temple Food Giveaway, but for organizations serving our neighbors throughout the entire region.

As we shared with KELOLAND, we believe Midwest Food Bank will add to what we’re already doing while helping even more people throughout the tri-state area.

This is what happens when organizations work together to make sure good food gets to people who can use it. ❤️

Read the full KELOLAND story:

An Illinois-based food bank that’s been helping non-profits in the Sioux Falls area for over a year is now expanding to further its reach throughout KELOLAND.

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives changed forever, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed.

We also remember what happened in the days after. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers cared for one another. Communities came together to serve.

At the Faith Temple Food Giveaway, that spirit of serving our neighbors is something we have the privilege of seeing every week. People from different backgrounds and walks of life come together, not because we are all the same, but because caring for one another matters.

On this Patriot Day, may we honor those we lost not only by remembering, but also by choosing kindness, generosity, service, and love for our neighbors.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We serve.
