Camp Wild is nearly full for the summer.
If you were hoping to sign your kiddo up, now is your chance!
We still have room in our August 10–13 afternoon sessions, 1–5PM and our July 20-23 morning sessions, 9-12. Campers ages 5–10 will enjoy four days of exploring woods and water, daily hikes, wildlife discovery, and nature-inspired art here at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum. What’s new at the Teaching Garden this month? The rhubarb bed is in its glory! There is nothing like rhubarb sauce over vanilla ice cream! There are five different rhubarb varieties growing side by side. This is an excellent opportunity to select the best variety for you and your garden. The cool-season vegetable bed got burned up by the hot weather but some varieties fared better than others. Come see which ones. The tomato and pepper beds have been planted. Different varieties and management practices are being demonstrated. Join us on Tuesday!
