Gardens, historical markers, and creekside trails in a preserved prairie landscape. A place for everyday rituals, shared learning, and milestone celebrations.

Congratulations to Brett Kollars, newly named Director of Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation.
Brett has led the department as interim director since April. He also serves on our Board, so we know firsthand how much he cares about the places this city shares.
Sioux Falls Parks and Rec cares for these grounds every day, along with 82 parks and 41 miles of trail across Sioux Falls. We’re grateful for that partnership, and glad Brett is leading it into the next chapter.
Congratulations, Brett! 🌿

Nature is the curriculum here. 🥰

This lovely group of 3rd graders spent Friday with us learning about trees, the history of east Sioux Falls, and everything growing in between. Thank you to Katie Hartigan for leading the group, and to the parent volunteers who drove and walked every trail.

Field trips, classes, and camps happen here all year. Bring your class. 🌳

A sprinkle in the forecast = magic in the photos. Especially with a backdrop as beautiful as this.
Congratulations to this weekend’s couple.

Winding trails. A flowing creek. A peaceful waterfall. Gardens that change with every season. 😍

None of it happens without the generous people who support this place.
