📣 GMMS PTA Families — One Last Meeting for the School Year!

Our final PTA meeting of the 2025–2026 school year is Tuesday, May 12 from 6:00–7:00 PM at GMMS.

As several of our amazing board members move on next year, we’re looking for new volunteers to help lead PTA for the 2026–2027 school year.

If you’re a current 6th or 7th grade parent, we would especially love to have you join us and consider getting involved!

Open board positions include:
🦅 President
🦅 Vice President
🦅 Secretary
🦅 Treasurer
🦅 Membership / Social Media Chair

PTA meets about every other month for roughly 1 hour, making this a manageable way to support GMMS, have a voice in your child’s school, and earn volunteer hours along the way.

Even if you’re just curious, come check it out! Fresh ideas and new faces help keep our PTA strong 💜🖤

If your student is moving on from GMMS (or you’re a teacher), we’d be so grateful if you’d share this with a friend who may be interested!

We appreciate our teachers every week, but this week we get to take some special time to show them!

The GMMS PTA provided a bunch of fruit for teachers and staff to munch on today and maybe even throughout the week!

GMMS Spirit Wear Volunteers Needed! 💜🖤

We are still looking for volunteers to help with Spirit Wear Sales during conferences, and we would love your help!

Each shift is just 1.5 hours, and there is ALWAYS a PTA board member present — no one will be left to run it alone.

You do NOT have to be on the PTA to help.
All you need to do is:

*Greet families
*Help find sizes
*Assist with this simple fundraiser

That's it — easy and low pressure!
