As part of Teen Lead Foundation's fundraising efforts, Dr. Augustina Osabutey .augustinaosabutey, founder and Executive Director of Teen Lead Foundation will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of St George & St Michael Parishes in Sioux Falls, South Dakota welcome table this weekend. The fundraising will be done through receiving donations and children’s books sales.

Teen Lead Foundation is a Sioux Falls-based nonprofit organization working with the Sioux Falls School District Community Learning Center and local organizations to teach children about environmental sustainability.

Volunteer Spotlight: Sylvia Esi Otchere of South Dakota State University Department of Biology and Microbiology

This week, we proudly celebrate Sylvia Esi Otchere, a Graduate student of the South Dakota State University Department of Biology and Microbiology for her outstanding volunteer support during the Little Guardians Series Children’s Storybook Launch, Teen Lead Foundation’s very first environmental sustainability program for children in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and showing up at vendor shows for our Little Guardians Series books sales!

Sylvia took on a variety of key roles, from teaching children about the importance of clean water, soil conservation, clean air to assisting with setup and teardown, welcoming guests with warm smiles at the registration table to support our mission.

Her dedication, teamwork, and generosity played a vital role in the success of our inaugural U.S. program, inspiring young minds to care for the environment while helping Teen Lead Foundation bring learning to life through literacy and hands-on environmental education.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership and service! We look forward to more volunteers from South Dakota State University in our mission to teach children in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities about environmental sustainability, stewardship, and protection.
