This is our “Elevator Pitch” to tell you a little about our mission.️

Our members of the Tea Area Community Scholarship Fund are UPLIFTING, caring community residents who want to provide some financial relief to Tea Area graduates seeking to GO UP in the world. We understand how college expenses accumulate and can really PUSH THEIR BUTTONS. Our city's population is CLIMBING and we are striving to ELEVATE our fund to offer more scholarship dollars, and we don’t want to LET THEM DOWN.

We are ESCALATING our presence in the community, developing new fundraising ideas, and ensuring we have some enjoyment along the way! There are always UPS AND DOWNS, but we are determined that our graduates don’t get THE SHAFT!

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 2, 2025
—this is the annual Day of Giving where over 400 nonprofits from across South Dakota unite to raise funds, increase awareness, and have a bit of fun along the way!

Celebrating its seventh year, South Dakota Gives is awarding an abundance of prize money to participating nonprofits.

We're excited to announce that TACSF is participating and taking part in various contests leading up to with a goal of raising additional funds for Tea Area graduates.

So stay tuned! There's much more to come about this fun-filled journey!

We had a great first ever Touchdown Campaign! We raised $1265!
Thank you to all of our sponsors and donors over the last month and a half.
Thank you to Tea Area School District for allowing us to do this campaign.
Thank you to the varsity football team for your hard work! We enjoyed cheering you on and wish you the best of luck at your last two games this season!

🏈 Touchdown Campaign 🏈
We have two great sponsors to round out our campaign.
Doug and Nancy Mette have pledged $50 for each Tea Area touchdown!
Doug and Nancy have been residents of Tea since they were married in 1983--first in Tea and since 1992 a mile west of Tea. They have 3 children--2 of which graduated from the Tea School district. Nancy has been involved in multiple organizations with the school--especially during the early years--helping start our first Music Boosters. They have been members of Tea Trinity Lutheran church since 1986.

Jennifer Biggins, owner of Paws and Reflect Pet Grooming & The Cat Tails Feline Grooming Spa has also pledged $50 per touchdown.
With 17 years of experience owning Paws and Reflect Pet Grooming, Jennifer relocated her business to Tea in 2018 and their home in 2020. In August 2024, her family opened The Cat Tails Feline Grooming Spa and Hotel Suites. They appreciate the Tea Community's amenities. Their children, Jameson and Jackson, attend Tea Area High School, actively participating in football and academic programs.

We have had a lot of fun with this campaign and so very much appreciate the generosity of all our sponsors.

More to come next week with our total raised and where we go from here!

Tea Area takes on Watertown tomorrow night for their last home game of the season, and it's also senior night! We'll be there to help cheer them on!

Our Titan Football team is back home this week taking on Brookings at 6 pm!

We have many sponsors again this week! We are so grateful for the response we've had from the Tea community. We can have a little fun and support a worthy cause! 🎓

Country Acres Tree Farm, owned by Wayne & Margaret Larsen, will be donating $50 for each Titan touchdown. They have been providing and planting trees and shrubs for our residential and commercial needs for 29 years!
