Ever wonder what the impact of your donation is? Outside of our statics of flying over 2,400 Veterans over the last 28 Missions all thanks to your continued support, it's the comments like these that show how much of a difference your donation - regardless of the amount - is making in the lives of our local Veterans!

"An unexpected impact that impressed me even more significantly came to mind once I had returned home. It seemed there was something more about the trip that stirred deeply in my heart and soul. Eventually I came to realize that the Midwest Honor Flight Crew and Volunteers along with your financial commitment provided this experience for us Veterans simply because you wanted to honor us. You were not required to do it, you were not commanded to do it, you were not rewarded for doing it. You WANTED to honor us and truly I was honored."

Make your lasting impact on our local Veterans by giving through this post, sending your contribution to PO Box 22; Sioux Center, IA 51250, or visiting our website at www.midwesthonorflight.org/donate.

National Military Spouse Appreciation Day is celebrated each year on the Friday before Mother’s Day. On this day, Midwest Honor Flight shows our appreciation to the spouses that support, love, and care for our Veterans.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day is a day when we honor the contributions and sacrifices made by military spouses. The support and commitment they provide help keep our country safe. Military spouses often serve as the backbone of the families who support our troops during deployments, missions, reintegration, and reset. Officially proclaimed by President Ronald Regan in April of 1984, the Department of Defense then standardized the date by declaring the Friday before Mother’s Day as “Military Spouse Appreciation Day” to show appreciation for the sacrifices of military spouses.
