How lucky are we to have been paired with this Leadership Siouxland group?! We’re incredibly grateful for their guidance, fresh ideas, and steady leadership throughout the year. Their support has made a lasting impact, and we truly couldn’t have done it without them. Last Wednesday was our last shopping event for the 25/26 school year, so naturally Thursday this group jumping in to help us with inventory!

Soon there will be a survey (with input from this excellent group) that will help guide the direction we take our non-profit!! We couldn’t have done it without you!

🎄 Sonja Smiles December Recipient 🎄

Today we had the joy of surprising the incredible staff at Liberty Elementary. Their educators continue to go above and beyond for their students and it shows in every hallway and classroom. They are doing amazing things and deserve to feel the love.

With the holidays right around the corner, we wanted to bring a little extra cheer their way. So we showed up with a huge assortment of cookies, hot cocoa, and warm apple cider to help them kick off the season in the sweetest way.

Thank you, Liberty Elementary, for pouring your hearts into your students every single day. You truly embody the spirit of Sonja Smiles and we loved celebrating you. ❤️🍪☕

Any way you slice it, you are amazing!

Today we surprised the hard working staff and educators at Harney Elementary School as this month’s Sonja Smiles recipients in memory of Sonja Grimsley. Sonja was a long time educator who loved her students and believed deeply in the power of learning.

We chose Harney because we continue to hear incredible things about the work happening in their classrooms and the way they go above and beyond for every student. Your dedication shows every single day.

Way to go, Harney team! You make a difference and you deserve to be celebrated. ❤️
