Simpsonville Chess Club The Simpsonville Chess Club provides a fun and safe environment for all individuals to learn and play chess in Upstate, SC. We are a U.S. Chess for some games!

Chess Affiliate and encourage you to join us and U.S. The Simpsonville Chess Club provides an opportunity for all levels of chess to be learned, played, and competed. We welcome all individuals who want to play the game and are currently meeting on Saturdays between 9am and noon. Chess Affiliate and U.S. Chess Membership is required to play in rated tournaments but not required for friendly matches.

Attention: we have been informed of the meeting hall being cleaned during our normal club time tomorrow. Due to this, we will only have outdoor games between 9am and noon. If you intend to join us, please dress for warm weather and bring plenty of water. The club will still continue to offer lemonade, coffee, and other light refreshments to everyone who stops by!

Hey friends! Be sure to join us tomorrow for our first tournament of the year!

Entry fee is $10 for 5 rounds of 15min delay 5.

Active USCF membership is required for tournament play. Skittles games will be available on site outdoors in the covered pavilion area!

Tournament play starts at 9:30am and should finish around 1:30pm.

Cash Prize payout based on entries.

Hey everyone, just wanted to keep people posted that we will not be setting up tomorrow at holy cross. John is out of town for a family event and unable to open everything up and set the boards up. We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend for our mini tournament.
