Piper & Freddy have both been in foster-to-adopts… and I’m thrilled to share that each adoption has become OFFICIAL 🥰

Have a wonderful life, babies 😘

Just picked Nelson up from another day of doggie daycare at The Ark Pet Spa & Hotel - RB! I love watching him play with other pups on the camera (like a crazy person 😆). He is a social butterfly and LOVES to play. He would thrive with a doggy sibling who needs a playmate.

Treasure would love a forever doggy brother or sister. She is glued to our dog River’s side.

Treasure is truly perfection. Crate-trained, doing excellent with potty training (not 💯 yet but very close!). Treasure loves kids, pups… hasn’t been around cats but would likely be just fine if introduced now!

Treasure’s legs are both healing beautifully and she doesn’t have any physical restrictions. She does need to be adopted locally, as the vet would like to be sure her legs continue to heal well— but that is all covered by the rescue 🩷

Included in adoption fee:

✅ Spay
✅ Microchip
✅ First 2 rounds of vaccinations
✅ Being dewormed
✅ Being current on flea/tick/heartworm meds at time of adoption

💤 😴 Freddy dreaming of his forever people…

Freddy doesn’t love his crate but has learned to sleep without any potty accidents in there! He is doing great with potty training in the house… not fully potty trained but will be there in time with consistency!

Freddy has done wonderfully with other pups and young kiddos! He gains more confidence daily and is truly the sweetest baby.

Today is National Black Dog Day…. And we would be remiss not to shine the spotlight on this current black beauty!

Treasure is crate-trained, great with kids/dogs (hasn’t been around cats but likely would be fine if introduced now), doing well with potty training… and is truly the full package!

The only thing Treasure has going against her is that she’s black. Sadly, the reality for black pups isn’t great. They spend much longer looking for their forever people, though no fault of their own.

Treasure was rescued by a Good Samaritan who witnessed her being abused by kids in a rough neighborhood. She had both a front and back broken leg and was left in a pile of trash next to the garbage cans to die…

But not on our watch! Treasure has since had surgery on her back leg and recovered beautifully. Her front leg seems to be straightening out on its own… so we are watching it under vet guidance. At this point, they don’t believe another surgery will be necessary— but the rescue will cover it if it is!

And I can assure you that her past doesn’t slow her down one bit. She takes playing with Flossie (my rescue) very seriously— and the wrestling is a full-time job!

This girl will thrive wherever she goes. All she needs is one chance to prove to you she’s not the trash those kids dumped to die… she has certainly become our Treasure 🩷

Meet Cady! 💕 Cady is a sweet, energetic 18-month-old, 22-pound mixed-breed dog who is looking for a loving new home. Cady is a former Mutts on the Mountain foster. Sadly, someone in the home has developed severe allergies, which is the reason for needing to rehome her 😞

Cady is:
-18 months old & 22 lbs
-Potty trained & crate trained
-Energetic and playful
-Great with families and kids
-Up to date on all vaccines
-Spayed, microchipped
-Sweet, loving, and ready to be someone’s best friend

I will try and get her up on the website today!

*Please note: I do not typically “rehome” dogs and focus solely on pulling pups in need from the shelter… but an exception has been made since Cady is a previous Mutts foster 🩷

‼️ 🚨 Another adopter donated $50 towards Piper’s adoption fee! That’s right…. Piper’s adoption fee has been reduced by $50 thanks to a lovely rescue advocate, hoping that helps Piper find her people 🥰

She is such a sweet girl and doing so well falling into a daily routine. Piper is doing great with her foster doggy brother and is a hit wherever she goes. Although her life started off living in a drainage pipe, she is now flourishing in her loving foster home.

Included in adoption fee:

✅ Spay
✅ Microchip
✅ First 2 rounds of vaccinations
✅ Being dewormed
✅ Being current on flea/tick/heartworm meds at time of adoption
