Find Your Anchor

Find Your Anchor Find Your Anchor is a grassroots movement aimed at su***de prevention, awareness, and education. Welcome to the page for Find Your Anchor.

With creativity and a personal touch, FYA aims to support those who may be struggling and de-stigmatize conversations surrounding su***de and mental health. If you are here it is probably because: 1 - you found a box and want to know more 2- we popped up in a search or 3 - your brilliant social networking led you here. Doesn't matter how you got here, we're glad you did. First things first, what i

s Find Your Anchor? Find Your Anchor (FYA) is a grassroots movement aimed at su***de prevention, awareness, and education. We are fueled by our desire to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de and believe in the power of creativity, small acts of kindness, and community to affect change. You may have some questions…

But, wait, what exactly is Find Your Anchor? The physical form of Find Your Anchor is a small blue box filled with all kinds of goodness; 52+ Reasons to Live deck of cards, posters, a mixtape full of uplifting music, stickers, a list of resources and more. We’d love to tell you what the more is, but we don’t know ….that’s where you come in. These boxes have and are being launched throughout the country. You may see one in a library, on the subway, or even outside the zoo. The idea is that those in need should pick up the box and use it and once they are in a better spot, they should add to it and pass it on. So, who are the ones in need? That part isn’t up to us, that is up to those who find a box. If it seems like something they need, at that point in their lives…it’s all theirs; if not, they are asked to leave it for someone who is in need. But, we imagine those in need to be anyone who has been or is impacted by su***de; either because it is a thought which has crossed their mind, or because they are close to someone who has turned to su***de, or even thoughts of su***de. Su***de is a serious problem in our country; there are an estimated 45,000 su***des per year and a staggering 1.2 million attempts. That is too many. We believe that there is help, there is hope and there is an alternative. We don’t claim to have all the answers, knowing that it is unique for each person, but Find Your Anchor is one small piece in a sea of positive and safe alternatives. How did it get started? Legend has it that Find Your Anchor is the brainchild of a brilliant, but troubled artist (who was probably starving too)…actually, it doesn’t matter how it started, or even when. What matters is that it keep moving forward, that it keep growing, that we (all) keep adding to it. So, how does Facebook factor in? This is another way to Find Your Anchor, another way to connect to resources, to other people, to information, to friends. We hope that those who connect to this page will offer their own insight, add resources, leave inspiration or clarification. We don’t know exactly what it will look like, just like we don’t know exactly where each box will land – it doesn’t matter; the point is to put it out into the universe and trust that each box, this page, each person will find their anchor. What about the boxes? If you found a box, please post on the wall where you found it, if it was helpful and anything else you feel like. If you want a box, well keep your eyes open… you never know where one may turn up. Or, you can Become A Messenger or Request a Box at www.findyouranchor.us. That’s about it. Simple really. But let’s see how it grows. Thanks for visiting the page, if you have questions, please message us, we can’t wait to hear from you.

🚨 NEW MERCH ALERT 🚨

"We aren’t experts - we’re just humans keeping each other anchored." 🫂💙

Introducing our newest t-shirt: Check on your people.

We wanted to create something that wasn’t just a reminder to the world, but a literal cheat sheet for how to be there for one another.

The front keeps it simple, but the back is packed with 40 real, messy, beautiful ways to show up - whether that’s sending a 10 second voice memo or dropping off a bag of oranges. 🍊✨

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about having a perfect plan. It’s about the "I'm not leaving" kind of showing up.

🛒 Snag yours at the findyouranchor.us/shop and let’s keep checking on each other.

Connection is the cure.

111,000.

It’s a number that’s honestly hard to wrap our heads around.

To put it into perspective: if you took Michigan Stadium - the largest stadium in the country - and packed it to the absolute maximum capacity, row after row, section after section... that is roughly 111,000 people.

111,000 boxes have now been launched into the world. That means 111,000 humans who have been reminded that they are not alone in the dark. 111,000 moments where a stranger who cares stepped up to say, "Please stay. Your story isn't over yet."

When this grassroots movement started, we just wanted to help people find their anchors - those bite-sized pieces of joy. We never could have dreamed that this organic network of hope would grow to fill stadiums.

This milestone doesn’t belong to us. It belongs to our incredible Messengers, our donors, the box building rockstars, and everyone who launched a box on a coffee shop counter, a library shelf, or a friend's desk.

111,000 boxes.
111,000 lives.
111,000 reasons to keep going.

To anyone holding a box right now: we are so glad you are here. ⚓️

289 Million Moments of Hope: A Nationwide Recap ⚓️🏙️

When we say "anchors are everywhere," we mean it. Over the last few months, we’ve been working on something massive. Today, we’re looking back at our recent pro bono campaign - a nationwide effort to plant seeds of hope in the places people need them most.

Between January and March, we took our Eye Charts + i-Spy anchors to the streets. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Talon America and 13 billboard companies, we were able to share reasons to stay on a scale we never imagined.

289,654,868 Impressions: That is nearly 290 million times someone looked up and saw a reminder that they are seen.

4,983 Units: From giant billboards to taxi tops and bus stops, we had nearly 5,000 anchors across the country.

$2.35 Million in Donated Media: A beautiful testament to what happens when companies prioritize mental health.

We traveled through 10 major cities to find you. You might have seen us on your commute or during a walk through your neighborhood.

📍 New York City: Riding through Manhattan on yellow taxi tops and greeting travelers outside Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, waiting for you in Times Square, and shining down in the subway tunnels.

📍 Philadelphia: Brightening the Navy Yard and keeping commuters company at SEPTA train stations.

📍 Chicago: Showing up at downtown bus shelters, busy intersections, and throughout the CTA train platforms.

📍 Los Angeles: Appearing on billboards along the I-5 highway and on bus stops across the city.

📍 Las Vegas: High above Las Vegas Blvd on top of the Waldorf Astoria and on taxis cruising along the Strip.

📍 Sacramento: Taking over the giant billboard at 630 K Street - outside the arena where the Sacramento Kings play.

📍 Atlanta, Baltimore, and Norwalk

Whether you were waiting for a train in Philly or stuck in traffic in Atlanta, we wanted you to know that there is always a reason to stay.

A massive thank you to all the outdoor media partners who donated this space. You didn't just give us billboards; you gave millions of people a sign to keep going.

Not your average weekend. 🏟️⚓️

There’s something about being on the field of the LA Memorial Coliseum that puts the scale of our mission into perspective.

We spent the day building boxes in this iconic space, and we couldn't have asked for a better backdrop to do this work.

It was an honor to partner with California Love California Strong and the Office of the Governor and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom to ensure no one in our state has to struggle alone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the field to help get these boxes into the hands of those who need them most.

California, you showed up strong. Thank you for being our anchor. 🌊💙

May 1st. Long Beach. Find Your Anchor Day. ⚓️🏙️

We’re kicking off Mental Health Awareness Month with a little bit of history. The City of Long Beach has officially proclaimed today as Find Your Anchor Day - a day to celebrate human connection, grassroots empathy, and the truth that hope is always within reach.

We’re 109,000+ boxes deep into this mission, and we’re just getting started.

Thank you Long Beach City and Mayor Rex Richardson for helping us make mental health support accessible, intentional, and loud.

Check on your people today.
Be an anchor. 💙

⚓️ THE FIRST-EVER FIND YOUR ANCHOR LAUNCH DAY.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a powerful time for conversation. This year, we’re taking those conversations a step further - turning words into action and hope into something you can hold in your hand.

On May 2, 2026, we’re not just posting - we’re launching!

HOW TO JOIN THE LAUNCH DAY:

1️⃣ SECURE YOUR BOX: Hit this link (http://bit.ly/48rYfEL) to donate + grab your FYA Box.

2️⃣ ADD A PERSONAL TOUCH: Before you launch it, add a handwritten note, a photo, or a small token of encouragement.

3️⃣ THE LAUNCH: On May 2, place your FYA box in the wild - a park, a library, a bus stop - where a “hug from a friend” is needed most.

4️⃣ FLOOD THE FEED: Tag + pin your location to the FYA Launch Map.

This isn't just about boxes; it’s about a global shift in how we look out for one another.
We’re proving that no one has to navigate the darkness alone.

We know that one connection can change everything.
Thank you for helping us get these anchors into the hands of those who need them most.
