We save horses from private owners, livestock brokers, kill buyers, reservations, and auctions—focusing on the injured, neglected, and at-risk.

It’s that time again, and we need your help getting our next hay delivery covered! We are hoping to raise $745 to purchase FOUR large 1,200 lb bales of hay, delivered right to the sanctuary! That’s 4,800 pounds of hay to keep our rescue babies fed. We’ve had A LOT going on behind the scenes this past week. Unfortunately, one of those things has been incredibly difficult and absolutely heartbreaking. It’s something we’re still trying to process, and we will share more with everyone when we’re ready. Through all the highs and lows of rescue, one thing never changes. The horses still need to be fed, cared for, and loved, no matter what we’re facing behind the scenes. Hay is one of our biggest ongoing expenses, and it never stops. We know we ask for help often, and we truly wish we didn’t have to, but these horses depend on us, and we depend on this amazing community.

Whether it’s $5, $10, $20, or simply sharing this post, every bit makes a difference. Thank you for standing beside us, especially during the hard times. ROMEO IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME

Romeo came to us from a kill pen and is only around a year old. He’s an Appaloosa and I’ll just say it… he is absolutely in his ugly duckling era right now. He’s awkward, scruffy, growing in every direction, and I just KNOW this boy is going to be absolutely stunning when he grows up. But his looks aren’t even what makes him special. Romeo is seriously the sweetest boy in the whole world. He is SO kind. He’s been started on halter breaking and is doing really, really well. He wants to learn, he wants to trust you, and cookies are definitely the way to his heart. This baby has already been through so much in his short life. He ended up in a kill pen before he was even a year old, and somehow he still came out of it with the sweetest little soul. He just needs someone to bet on him.
Someone who can look at this awkward little Appy baby and see what he’s going to become. Someone who will keep working with him, let him grow up, love him through all of it, and give him the one thing he hasn’t had yet..a place that is actually his. He’s been gelded, vaccinated, and wormed. His adoption fee is 600$. Someone give this boy his happy ending! He should be ready in 2-3 weeks! I absolutely love this horse. The brain he has is rare. Throughout our rescue journey I’ve only met a handful like him. This horse is SPECIAL. Please message us if you’d like an application emailed to you.

❤️ OUR VILLAGE SHOWED UP BIG TODAY! ❤️
Today, our incredible village spent the day working their butts off to redo our stalls and make sure our rescues have safe, comfortable places to call home. Because of their hard work, we now have FOUR amazing new stalls for our babies! Melissa, Tami, Ann, Jeanne, and Dawn, I cannot thank you ladies enough for everything you did today. You absolutely busted your butts, and I am so incredibly grateful for each of you! And to our amazing tractor guys, Virgil and Jacob, who ran the show and did SO much for us today, THANK YOU! We truly could not have done this without you! The animals are so happy, and my heart is so full. Seeing people come together and give their time, energy, and love to animals who have already been through so much means more to me than I could ever put into words. These animals deserve the world, and because of people like you, we get to give them a little more of it every single day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving these animals as much as we do. Our village really is something special. ❤
