We're going to put our wishlist in the comments and yes...we have necessary items and fun stuff in there too! 😻
We enjoy giving our foster families toys and treats for their feline guests, it's part of what makes fostering fun!

We've been so fortunate to meet really lovely families over the last week that offered to foster. Thank you so much and welcome to Team C.C.H.S.!😻

Make no mistake, WE NEED MORE HELP!
Renee said she has a list that's as long as Santa's!

There are kittens everywhere and our calls are unanswered because we don't call folks back until we can help them! Right now, we're at a rescue standstill until we vouch more great families that are ready to babysit the kitty babies for us!
Parents: this can be a fun summer project for you and your kids! We will guide you every step of the way!

We are back at it THIS Saturday, June 6th! These cats and kittens never stop eating so we have to keep up the fundraising momentum!
We need dry food, wet food, kitty litter, toys...all the things you love for your cats, ours enjoy too!
Every dollar we don't have to spend on food or supplies, means a dollar extra towards Vet appointments, it means a hesitant "yes" to another litter of babies turns into an easy "yes, we can rescue"! The gas alone to rescue all over the county and also medical care in Tucson is RIDICULOUS right now!

Good morning, Cochise county!
We're sharing the video of this week's Douglas special city council meeting but we apologize, you can hear everybody EXCEPT Renee! 🤣🤦‍♀️
Douglas City Council was very attentive, with all members asking great questions about outdoor cat colonies. Some even had personal stories about the benefits of trap-neuter-return.
Thank you to all of our amazing cat caregivers and feeders that showed up to support C.C.H.S. at this meeting. It's so important and your love for unhoused cats is the reason we will always try to help you.❤
These cats have no voice, so we must be that voice for them!
City of Douglas has really jumped into a more progressive way of controlling cat populations and we encourage you to speak up for cats in your city or within the county. If you're in Cochise county, we can help you advocate for a better, more humane way to manage cat colonies. THE PUBLIC MUST SPEAK UP IF YOU WANT CHANGE AND BETTER SOLUTIONS FOR VULNERABLE CATS!

Unfortunately, all that activity didn't garner any new foster ready homes. Not a single voicemail about fostering.😔

I did not know when I took that first sip of coffee this morning that there would be a knock at my door ten minutes later and this little kiddo would be surrendered to me.
I swear, he looked way worse upon arrival.
Soaking wet, eyes crusted shut and he's a tiny little bag of bones but, lucky for kitten, these are things that can be fixed when we intervene early!
In a week, he won't be the same miserable little kitten.
A warm home, food routinely, $30 of medicine and little kisses will be all he needs to make it and grow up healthy.

I've got the food...
I've got the medicine...
Plenty of fairy godmother kisses too...

But I need the safe and warm homes to constantly rescue these cats and kittens.
Can you help us save them?
