Sidney Booster Club Established in 2023. To support these activities, we engage in a variety of fundraising endeavors and assist other groups in organizing their own events.

The Sidney Booster Club is an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the athletic and extracurricular programs at Sidney High School. Founded in 2024, the Sidney Booster Club is a vibrant community of parents, coaches, and local supporters committed to enriching the extracurricular experience at Sidney High School (SHS). As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to foster an environment that not only inspires students and enhances school spirit but also broadens the horizons of our kids beyond the classroom. At the heart of our efforts is the belief that extracurricular activities—ranging from clubs to athletics—are crucial for developing strong character and leadership skills among students. This allows us to provide financial backing for programs that might otherwise be limited by school budgets. The Sidney Booster Club is more than just a fundraising entity; it is a network of dedicated individuals who advocate for and support our students, administrators, and coaching staff. Our commitment is to ensure that every student at SHS has the opportunity to thrive and succeed in their chosen activities, helping to cultivate a culture of success and enthusiasm throughout the school. We invite all community members who share our vision to join us in this rewarding journey of supporting our young athletes and scholars, fostering a legacy of excellence and community engagement at Sidney High School.

If you see Lennon Swain, be sure to congratulate her on her outstanding performances at the MAC & Section IV Class C Championships!

Lennon swept the MAC and Section IV titles in both Girls Discus (104-7) and Girls Shot Put (32-8). 💪

We couldn’t be prouder of the way she represented Sidney Track & Field this weekend.

Congratulations, Lennon — keep up the great work!

The pride and joy of Sidney is coming back with some hardware! Congratulations to Isabella Phelps on capturing the 114lbs state title!

Phelps entered the tournament as the #3 seed despite a dominating season. Her closest match on the day would come as a 10-6 decision over Keira Filip (Minisink Valley). In the finals, she teched returning state champ Laila Builes (Port Chester) 11-1!

After finishing 6th as a freshman, she ends her sophomore campaign as a state champion!

Four Sidney senior athletes had the opportunity to attend Binghamton University's "Celebrating Women's Athletics Luncheon" earlier this week.

Attending were Dejah Taylor, Nayla Miley, Lennon Swain, and Abby Boyce, along with Sidney CSD Athletic Coordinator Jim Karl and Sidney CSD Director of Curriculum/School Improvement Tony Stenta.

The event featured a keynote speech from Alix Klineman, who earned a gold medal in beach volleyball at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

A great experience for the Sidney group!

Congratulations to the Sidney-Unatego Bowling team for winning sectionals and qualifying for the state championship!
