Did you know needing to be right can become a hang-up?

Sometimes it’s not really about the disagreement.

It’s about needing to prove our point.
Needing the last word.
Needing someone else to admit they were wrong.

We can become so focused on being right that we stop asking whether our response is healthy.

Recovery teaches us to look at our part.

Do I need to win this argument… or do I need to listen?

Do I need them to agree with me… or can I accept that we see things differently?

Do I need the last word… or can I let it go?

Humility doesn’t mean you’re always wrong.

It means you no longer have to prove you’re always right.

Sometimes growth looks like choosing peace over proving a point.

“Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.”
Proverbs 18:2

Did you know serving others can become part of your own healing?

We often think serving is only about what we can do for someone else.

But God has a way of using service to change us, too.

Serving gets us outside of ourselves.
It gives purpose to what we’ve walked through.
It reminds us that we still have something to give.

Sometimes the very place where you once struggled becomes the place God uses you to help someone else.

You don’t have to have it all together to serve.

You just have to be willing to say…

“God, use me.”
