Transparency is important to us so we always want to update our supporters, even when it’s not the outcome we wanted.
Ginger, Lucy, and Hazel will be coming back to us next week because they aren’t doing well in a shelter environment. This is the first time this has happened but we will always be committed to our animals.
Ginger and Hazel will need fosters who can spend one on one time working with them to help them be better socialized and more confident so they can be ready the next time they get a chance to leave. They are also high energy dogs so they need a home they can go for walks and get exercise.
If you are in the Shreveport/Bossier area and want to foster Ginger or Hazel, please message our page. We would love someone with training experience who can be better equipped to set them up for success!
When we ask for transport sponsorships, it’s supposed to be for our animals to get out and get a home. Even though we spent their transport sponsorships getting them there, if anyone who donated toward the costs to transport these 3 wants a refund, please private message our page.
We will continue to look for a foster based rescue for them. Some dogs just don’t do well in a shelter environment especially after being in a foster home so we will evaluate them and find the right place for them when they’re ready.
We will not tolerate any negative comments about the partner they went to. After talking, we are trying to do what’s best for the dogs 🐾
