The Family Resource Center (FRC) offers free services to families across 10 parishes in NW Louisiana.

The FRC supports families & the community through Parent and Kinship Support, Service Navigation, Case Management, and Community Outreach.

Volunteers for Youth Justice The Family Resource Center is hosting an informational meeting about Project MOM, a statewide initiative supporting pregnant and postpartum women and adolescents experiencing substance use challenges.

Join us on Thursday, November 12, at 10:00 AM to learn more about the program, available resources, and the referral process. This is a great opportunity to learn how Project MOM can help connect mothers with the support and services they need.

Location: The Harbor, 3004 Knight Street, Building 6, Room 271, Shreveport, LA.

We’ve enjoyed getting out into the community, sharing resources, and connecting families with services and support.

Volunteers for Youth Justice Family Resource Center Education Team was on the move across Bossier Parish yesterday delivering TBRI®!

We spent the day at three incredible sites:

• SpEd Coordinators & Interventionists — a TBRI refresher full of connection, collaboration, and practical tools to support students with care and confidence.
• Butler Educational Complex — partnering with educators committed to creating trauma-informed spaces for every learner.
• Plantation Park Elementary — wrapping up the day with a team eager to bring TBRI strategies into classrooms this fall.

We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside Bossier Schools as they continue building safe, connected, trauma-informed campuses for their students and staff.

We are thankful for the opportunity to connect with our community, raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence, and share resources that support individuals and families.

Can’t believe it’s almost been a week since the 9th Annual NWLA PCOS Awareness Walk!

We were so glad to see our community come together to raise awareness, share information, and show support for those affected by PCOS.

Thank you to Cajun Cyster of NWLA,Inc.-PCOS Advocate for letting us join in on the fun and be part of such a meaningful event! We loved connecting with everyone and being part of the day.
