linktr.ee/paceinthe318 The strength of PACE's membership lies in its Focus Groups.

PACE is a nonpartisan organization that works to advance equality in Northwest Louisiana so that the LGBTQ+ community can lead open, honest, responsible, and safe lives at home and in the workplace. We believe that the most effective way to achieve these goals is to educate our communities and to constructively participate in the political process. Specifically the objectives and purposes of PACE

are to enhance the quality of life for all citizens by working:

To establish a society free from discrimination against individuals based on race, age, disability, s*x, s*xual orientation, gender identity and expression, religious belief, or national origin;

To urge the government to provide adequate police protection, quality education, public health, assistance and protection for the individual freedoms and rights for all;

To encourage government to be more responsive to all citizens and to eliminate corruption; and;

To educate the public and candidates for public office regardingLGBTQ+ issues. Focus Groups give members an opportunity to work in a specific area of advocacy and activism. Serving on a Focus Group is not mandatory, however, it is strongly encouraged.

We’re really looking forward to coming together to celebrate our dear friend and teammate. Please join us in wearing bright colors to honor his light 🌈✨

Due to scheduling conflicts, we are having to reschedule the Celebration of Peter’s Life. Please note date and location change.

Celebration of Peter’s Life

We would love for you to join PACE and Peter’s family as we gather to share stories, memories, and celebrate the joyful life of Peter Lyons.

Peter brought joy, kindness, laughter, and connection everywhere he went. He had a gift for making people feel welcomed, seen, and loved, and we hope to honor that same spirit by coming together in community.

Please wear colorful shirts to honor Peter and the brightness he brought into our lives.

PACE will provide refreshments.

PACE is sharing this fundraiser for a trans couple who are working to recover and rebuild after a targeted hate crime. No one should have to face violence or fear for simply existing, loving, and moving through the world as themselves.

If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing to help them with immediate safety, recovery, and stability needs. Community care matters, especially in moments like this.
