🚒 VOTE YES for Timber Mesa PROP 455 🚒
The YES for Timber Mesa Campaign is a true grassroots effort driven by local residents, community supporters, and the firefighters who proudly serve the White Mountains every single day.
The White Mountain Firefighters Association proudly supports Prop 455 because we understand firsthand the growing demands placed on emergency services throughout our communities. Timber Mesa Fire & Medical District now protects more than 34,500 residents across over 216 square miles — with seasonal populations growing to more than 50,000 people. Last year alone, firefighters and paramedics responded to nearly 8,300 emergency calls.
As our communities continue to grow, our emergency infrastructure must grow with it.
Prop 455 would help:
✅ Build a new fire station
✅ Rebuild and modernize aging facilities
✅ Purchase a new ladder truck
✅ Improve firefighter safety, response capabilities, and emergency preparedness
✅ Help maintain strong fire protection and community safety standards
Some Timber Mesa stations were built decades ago and were never designed to support today’s staffing levels, equipment, or operational demands. Firefighters are working out of overcrowded stations while call volumes continue increasing throughout the district.
This campaign is not about politics — it’s about protecting our families, homes, businesses, and future.
The firefighters supporting this effort live here. We raise our families here. We coach little league, attend local schools and churches, and serve this community every day. That’s why we’re asking our friends, neighbors, and community members to stand with us and Vote YES on Prop 455.
We also encourage those who support stronger emergency services and safer communities to help contribute to this grassroots campaign effort so we can continue educating voters throughout the White Mountains.
