Wow… what an incredible evening for Shoshoni! ❤️✨

Last week’s Citizen of the Year dinner brought together OVER 100 community members 👏 and it truly showed what makes our town so special 🏡💛 It was an absolute joy to honor Kathy Blair 🎉 along with the outstanding individuals who were nominated—each one so deserving and such a big part of what makes this community thrive 🙌

This event was a true team effort between the Town of Shoshoni, the Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce, and the Shoshoni Senior Center 🤝 When we work together, amazing things happen—and this night was proof of that 💫

A very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers 💕 who gave their time and energy to make the evening such a success. And of course, we cannot forget the incredible meal 🍽️🔥—Wayne Olsen, Sharon Taylor, and Christy Lawson absolutely knocked it out of the park! 👨‍🍳👏

Most importantly… it was FUN 😄🎶 The kind of night filled with laughter, connection, and a whole lot of community pride ❤️

We are so proud to be part of a town that shows up, supports one another, and celebrates the good in each other 🥰👏

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to get out, laugh a little, eat REALLY good food, and celebrate some truly incredible people… this is it! 🎉✨

Join us this Thursday, March 26th at 6:00 PM at the Shoshoni Senior Center for our Citizen of the Year Dinner—an evening full of great company, heartfelt moments, and yes… chicken fried steak with all the fixin’s 🤤🍽️ (thank you, Wayne Olsen… we already know it’s going to be amazing!).

This year, we are honored to celebrate Kathy Blair as our Citizen of the Year 🏆💛 If you know Kathy, you already know—this honor could not be more well-deserved. She truly represents the heart of our community ❤️

We will also be recognizing EVERY individual who received a vote 👏 because let’s be honest… Shoshoni is full of some pretty incredible people, and we love celebrating that! 🌟

Reservations are NOT required… but STRONGLY encouraged 📞😉 (trust us—you don’t want to miss out on that meal!).

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce! 🍀💚🍀

We hope everyone is enjoying a little extra luck 🍀, good food 🍽️, and maybe even a touch of green today! 💚

St. Patrick’s Day has always been a special one in many communities (and in some places, everyone is Irish for the day 😉🍀), and it’s a great reminder of how much fun it is to come together and celebrate 🎉

Just a quick reminder that we will be holding our Chamber meeting tonight at 6:30 PM at the Shoshoni Senior Center 🏡 We’d love to see you there!

🐝 Busy as a Bee… But Exciting Things Are Happening! 🐝

Hello Shoshoni friends!

First off, I want to apologize for not posting much lately — your Chamber President has been busy as a bee working hard to help get the Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce buzzing and moving forward! 🐝✨ Thank you all so much for your patience and support while we’ve been working behind the scenes.

I’m very excited to share that we have officially released our FIRST Quarterly Chamber Newsletter and Membership Form! 🎉

Inside the newsletter you’ll find community news, updates, and information about things happening in our wonderful town. We will be doing these quarterly, and we’re excited to keep everyone informed and connected.

Even better — you can now join the Chamber directly on our website!

When you become a member, you’ll receive one of our very cool “Proud Supporter” Chamber stickers featuring the Shoshoni Chamber logo to proudly display at your business, home, or window! 💙

You can also pick up a newsletter and a membership application at the Shoshoni Senior Center if you’d prefer to join in person.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we work to get things organized and growing. There are some very exciting things in the works, including:

⭐ A community history restoration project
⭐ Planning future community events
⭐ Supporting and promoting our local businesses

We are just getting started, and we are excited about what’s ahead for Shoshoni! I encourage everyone to check out the website, grab a newsletter, and consider becoming a Chamber member.

The Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce is beyond excited (like, doing-a-happy-dance excited 💃) to announce that we will be hosting the Town of Shoshoni’s Citizen of the Year Dinner!

(Yes. The good stuff. The “loosen your belt a notch” kind of good.)

We are so honored to host this special evening celebrating one very deserving member of our community. Shoshoni is filled with incredible people who give their time, their heart, and their energy to make our town such a wonderful place — and we cannot wait to celebrate this year’s lucky recipient 🏆💛

While reservations are not required, they are strongly encouraged so we have a good idea how many chicken fried steaks to cook (because running out would be a tragedy of historic proportions 😅).

We absolutely love partnering with the Town of Shoshoni and working together to celebrate the people who make our community shine. It’s events like this that remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

Friendly reminder that the Chamber of Commerce meeting times have changed, and there is NO Chamber meeting tonight — so feel free to stay cozy at home, make dinner, or put your pajamas on early. We fully support that decision. 😉

✨ BIG things are coming from the Chamber! ✨

We are SO excited to share that we’ve been busy behind the scenes working on some really fun (and meaningful!) things for our community.

Coming soon: our new quarterly Chamber newsletter 🎉
And the part we’re most excited about? A special section called “From the Archives.”

This section will highlight local history—stories, people, and moments that helped shape the incredible place we call home. Because Shoshoni isn’t just a dot on the map… it’s built on grit, heart, and some pretty amazing history ❤️

We’re hoping to have the first issue out by the end of the month / early March, and it will also include our new Chamber membership applications (perfect timing if you’ve been thinking about joining us!).

We are truly honored and excited to serve this community and can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on. Stay tuned—you’re going to love what’s coming!
