This was our first "on the road for rescue" event and we've put many miles on the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue Wienermobile since 2009. And we still charge only $5 for a souvenir photo. We've enjoyed meeting so many dachshunds and their owners over the years! Share your pics if you have one.

Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue is taking the Wienermobile on tour in the Mid-Atlantic area. Souvenir photos are taken for a $5 donation.

In addition to celebrating America's 250th birthday, we are also celebrating Scooby's wish come true. In his adoption profile, we said that Scooby was "Looking to celebrate his 3rd birthday in his new home." In 2 short weeks, Scooby was brought into foster care and his adopter was found. Look how happy Scooby (now Remi) is, celebrating his 3rd birthday (on 6/28) in his fantastic new home❣️🥹

Foster Fotobomb! 🤣 Trying to take pictures of newcomer Scooby, in the back, and Rosie totally bombed the photo up front.

When both dogs become available for adoption, they will get posted to our website, unless we find that we already have a matching adopter from a previously approved application on file.
