Our health isn’t a trend. It’s a human right.

Maternity care deserts keep expanding with hospital closures, leaving less access to care.

Over 80% of maternal deaths in the United States are preventable.

Black mothers are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy related causes than white women.

We need to step up YEAR ROUND for moms, not just when it’s trending for news cycles.

I created In Kind Boxes to show up for moms because I could see the the gap in care, but now that I’ve been doing this for 7 years, I’ve learned that it’s not just a gap- it’s a giant canyon… I’ll keep shouting from my tiny corner of the internet on the behalf of moms who can’t speak for themselves until a proper standard of care is provided.

Moms deserve better. 🩷

Just because things were hard for some of us, doesn’t mean that should be the case for everyone. Why not want more or better for the moms who come after us?

My mom was a single mom who needed a lot of community support. Because of that kindness, my family felt love and support during really hard times.

Now I get to pay that kindness forward through 💞

Every mom deserves a village.
