Dear Trojan Families,
The countdown is on! There are only 3 days remaining to register for the 2026 Sherrills Ford Optimist Trojans Football season, and we could not be more excited about what is ahead for our athletes, families, and community.
As we continue preparing for an incredible season, tomorrow will be our FINAL opportunity for equipment fitting and uniform try-ons. We strongly encourage all registered players and families to attend following our youth conditioning workouts at 8:30 AM at the Sherrills Ford Optimist Club.
This final fitting date is extremely important as we prepare to place orders for:
* Team uniforms
* Helmets
* Shoulder pads
* Additional player equipment
Please check your emails! Right now we only have 37/60 completed forms for tackle players. We have to ensure every athlete receives the correct gear, we need all families to verify that their information has been submitted and completed, including:
Player information forms
Parent/guardian information forms
Jersey name and number selections
Any remaining registration paperwork
Our goal is to have all player information finalized by **June 8th**, with uniform orders submitted by **June 10th**. This timeline allows us plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments before the season begins.
If you are unable to attend tomorrow's fitting session, please contact us as soon as possible so we can coordinate individually and ensure your athlete is properly fitted and included in our ordering process. We will also be reaching out directly to families to confirm all information is accurate before orders are submitted.
Additionally, if you know anyone interested in joining the Trojans, please spread the word. **Registration closes in just 3 days!** We are still welcoming athletes interested in our **JV and Varsity tackle football programs**, and we would love the opportunity to add them to our Trojan family before enrollment closes.
We have also recently distributed sponsorship information for individuals and businesses interested in supporting our program. The continued support from our community is helping us build something special for these young athletes, and we are incredibly grateful.
