This October, the Sherman Police Department is launching a free community program that will be presented primarily in Spanish.

Over four Tuesday evenings, we’ll discuss topics including:
• Understanding your local police department
• Calling police and interacting with officers
• Victims' rights and community safety
• Understanding the court process and local government

The goal of the program is to help residents learn more about local public safety services, the role of the Sherman Police Department, and what to expect when interacting with police or navigating common public safety situations in our community.

No registration is required. Just show up.

Families are welcome to attend.

But, seriously, shout out to the Sherman Police Department and all local law enforcement agencies! Often a thankless job, but they work so hard to protect and serve our community day in and day out!

We had such a great evening at Sherman Police Department’s National Night Out! 💙

Good music, great food, lots of smiles, and an opportunity to connect with so many families, businesses and organizations in our community.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to serve and be a part of the community we love.
