We have to take a moment to recognize our Americorps VISTA, Celia. Today she graduated as part of the Leadership Sheridan Class of 2026!

Many of you already know how vital Celia is to us. She not only keeps us all on track, but she’s usually the first person that someone new to NAMI Sheridan will interact with, and she always meets them with kindness and a warm welcome.

We’re so thankful to her dedication to mental health efforts, and incredibly proud of her accomplishment in becoming a better leader.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Candice, Matt, and the entire Teriyaki Madness team for such a successful fundraiser for NAMI Sheridan on Tuesday! 💙

And thank you to everyone who stopped by, enjoyed some yummy food, and mentioned NAMI when ordering. Because of your support, we were able to raise $600 for NAMI Sheridan! 🎉

💙 Su***de Prevention Month may be ending, but the conversation doesn't have to.

Checking in on someone shouldn't be something we do only in September.

Keep asking.

We may not always know what someone is carrying, but we can choose to create a community where people feel safe asking for help and talking about what they're going through.

💙 If you’ve lost someone to su***de, you don’t have to grieve alone.

NAMI Sheridan offers a free Su***de Loss Support Group for individuals grieving a loss from su***de.

This is a welcoming space to find support, understanding, and connection with others who are navigating the unique experience of su***de loss. The group is facilitated by licensed mental health providers.
