June is Post Traumatic Stress Awareness Month.

For many veterans, first responders, and families, the effects of trauma don’t end when the moment passes; they stay, often quietly shaping daily life in ways others can’t always see.

At Heroes on the Water, we recognize that healing is not linear, and it is not something anyone should have to navigate alone.

Whether through connection with others, time in nature, or moments of stillness on the water, we see every day how space and community can make a difference in carrying the weight of service and experience.
