SWC had 5, 8th grader go compete in a National level tournament. 3 of them finished in the medal rounds!
Sawyer Huckins placed 2nd in freestyle and 3rd in Folkstyle!
Seth Gilbert placed 3rd in folkstyle!
Thor Henry finished 4th in folkstyle!

Going and finding great competition is how you climb the ladder to become a high level wrestler! Good work men! Keep working hard!

Some Shepherd Wrestlers got to meet Olympic Bronze Medalist J'den Cox today!! He is a 3x NCAA Champion at Missouri, 2x World Champion and won Bronze at the Rio Olympics in 2016!

Attention Parents: If you have a 3rd through 5th grader interested in wrestling our practice starts Monday November 6th at 6:00 pm! Attached is the flyer, you can sign up online if you have not yet. This week practice will be Monday only, Thursday evening the 9th Central Michigan University kicks off there season hosting Oklahoma at 7 pm! Coach will be at that dual. Any questions send a message

We took 9 wrestlers to the Myway State Championships and walked away with 3 All-Staters! Congrats to Nick Terwilliger 4th place, Micah Curtiss 5th place and Johnny Kenny 5th place! We wrapped up a good season! Great things to come! Look for future post on open room nights and get there to get better. Summer wrestlers make winter champions! Big shout out to our coaches who volunteered all winter to help our kids get better! Thanks Nick CLULEY, Mark Clevenger, Joe Terwilliger, Caleb Cline, and Justin Henry Thanks men! The Future is bright for Shepherd Wrestling! A big thanks to you parents who are committed to your kids and make sure they are at every practice.
