‼️📣 Announcement 📣‼️
Good Afternoon,
I am pleased to announce that we have started a non profit here in Shelbyville. After lots of research and prayer we have heard and seen the needs of foster children throughout the state. There has been a 13% increase of children in foster care since 2024. And although this is hard to hear we want to help. Our mission is to help clothe these children. We are currently accepting donations which include:
• Boys/Girls gently used clothing and shoes
• Coats/Jackets
New- undergarments
• Diapers/wipes
• New/unopened hygiene products such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner, baby shampoo, baby lotion, toothbrushes, etc.
• New bottles/sippy cups
We understand times are hard on a lot of people especially having kids of our own but we ask if you do have clothes your children have outgrown or are at the store and pick up an extra item to donate. It will go to a great cause.
We are taking donations now and will have our location and hours of operation available once the community building is open.
Please look out for future events such as “ The Children’s Tree” which will allow someone or a family to pick a child or children to give Christmas to.
