Grant Partner Spotlight: Community Math Academy

Community Math Academy is helping students build confidence, strengthen their math skills, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.

Through engaging academic programs for students in grades 3–9, Community Math Academy provides opportunities for young learners to strengthen their mathematical concepts, develop critical-thinking skills, and see themselves as capable, confident learners. Their programs include virtual and in-person learning opportunities, advanced math, STEAM enrichment, robotics, science, and coding.

At the heart of their work is a powerful message: “I AM! I CAN! I WILL!” Community Math Academy partners with families, educators, businesses, churches, and community organizations to ensure student success remains at the center of everything they do.

The Catawba Nation Foundation is proud to support organizations like Community Math Academy that are investing in the education, confidence, and future success of young people in our communities.

Today, on the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, we celebrate the cultures, languages, traditions, and resilience of Indigenous communities around the world.

At the Catawba Nation Foundation, we are honored to support the Catawba Indian Nation and North Carolina's Tribal Nations and Native organizations through investments that strengthen cultural preservation, education, community well-being, and opportunity.

We believe that honoring Indigenous heritage also means investing in its future—empowering communities, preserving traditions, and creating opportunities for generations to come.

Today, we celebrate the people, stories, and cultures that continue to enrich our communities and inspire our work every day.
