On February 20th, we had the honor of celebrating the incredible youth who participated in 4-H throughout the 2025 calendar year at our Cleveland County 4-H Awards & Recognition Night.
From the youth who joined us for our summer day camps, to those who attended overnight camp, competed in events, or bravely stepped up to try public speaking. We recognized the hard work, courage, and growth shown by so many amazing young people.
As the 4-H Agent here in Cleveland County, I am beyond proud of the growth and diversity of our 4-H community. Our 4-H’ers come from all across the county and from all walks of life, yet each one wears the 4-H green proudly and represents what 4-H is all about in the very best ways.
It has been such a privilege to watch so many of our youth grow over the past two and a half years and to see what they have accomplished, and to hear their excitement for what they want to do next.
None of what we do in 4-H would be possible without our incredible volunteers and community supporters who believe in our mission and invest their time to help Cleveland County youth continue to grow and shine in so many different areas of interest.
We are already looking ahead with excitement as we prepare to launch summer day camps, overnight camp, clinics, and even more opportunities in the months ahead.
As our 4-H program continues to grow and reach more youth across the county, we invite you to be part of it. If you have a passion, skill, or interest that you believe youth would enjoy learning about, we would love to connect with you. 4-H is where youth learn by doing and strive to make the best better and I truly believe that is exactly what we are doing here in Cleveland County. 💚🍀
