For more than 25 years, CHL has trained thousands of people to recognize and respond to su***de risk, providing life-saving education to schools, first responders, healthcare facilities, workplaces, and community organizations throughout the state and beyond.
However, due to significant Federal funding cuts and an uncertain economic climate, we entered a sunsetting season with heavy hearts.
After careful consideration, CHL's Board of Directors has made the challenging decision to dissolve the organization by December 12, 2025, in light of an overwhelming financial shortfall. You can read our press release on our website and in the comments section below.
Previously planned trainings will still take place between now and the closure date.
